Dogs have been domesticated for thousands of years and some breeds have some really recognizable and outstanding features. While all breeds, by definition, are unique and easily defined there are some breeds that simply goes well past the mark of being unusual. These breeds often require special care and are definitely not dogs for everyone.

Some Indian dog breeds are Rampur Hound, Rajapalyam, Caravan Hound, Mudhal Hound, Chippiparai, and many more. Rampur Hound is the breed who loves human companionship and is well adjusted to other dogs. It has clean habits. They may appear lazy but will charge if needed. This breed was used as a popular hunter an appropriate day was chosen and intimated to all hunters.

Rajapalyam breed looks like a miniature Great Dane. They have powerful, muscular and heavy build. It is a typically boar hound which was used for hunting wild boar and hare. The dog needs plenty of freedom and space. If you properly trained the dog, they make excellent guard dogs.

The Caravan Hound probably owed its ancestry to these dogs. They were called so because they used to travel along with the caravans from place to place. This breed was usually selectively by the villagers to withstand the weather, hunt or immune to many diseases and has plenty of stamina. They are very keen and alert.

Mudhol Hound is a hardy dog and a keen sight hound. It is a dog that needs plenty of exercise and movement. It can’t be managed in confined areas. They are ideally used for racing and hunting, though they make good companion and guard dogs. Mudhol Hound is obliquely placed. They give the dog an intelligent expression.

The Chippiparai is a native hound to Southern India particularly the district of Thanjavur. It needs very little grooming and enjoys the outdoors. Its food requirements are very minimal. It is very hardy and resistant to climate change.

Every body knows that from thousand of years humans had a relation with many species of animals and among the animal’s entire dog is the most loyal friend of humans from several of years because both humans and dogs are depended on each other for their survival and protection. Many of us people had adopted dog and many are wanted to adopt them. If you adopt a dog its good because they protect you.

Proper dog health care is, in many ways, the same as proper human health care. Balanced nutrition with fresh food and plenty of clean water and adequate exercise will keep your dog healthy and happy. Dogs, like humans are subject to a host of health disorders that can be caused by obesity, lack of exercise and ingestion of ‘bad for you’ foods and drugs.

The first and most important rule in dog training is to let your dog know who is boss. Once you get your dog to respect you as his leader, everything will be much easier. Dog training requires a lot of patience and consistency. Try to remain consistent in your training.

Dog training is not as easy as some people tell. How easy it is to train your dog is totally depends on your dog specifically that what breed, their background, and even their disposition. When you start training your dog, you should begin by laying down a few ground rules so that he learns in step by step way. The first thing is that when you adopt a dog it is the time when the biggest adjustments will occur for both you and for your dog.
Remember that training your dog not a hard thing to do but with a little patience you will be amazed as to how your dog can learn new things. Consistency is much more important when you train your dog, have fun with him and you will be rewarded with a happy, obedient companion.
